“Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE)” is an innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology to attract young talent to Science. The core objective of INSPIRE is to ignite curiosity and communicate the excitement of creative scientific pursuits to youth, encouraging them to take up Science at an early age.

By nurturing young minds, INSPIRE aims to build a critical pool of human resources to strengthen and expand the nation’s Science & Technology and Research & Development ecosystem.

A unique aspect of this programme is that it
does not conduct competitive exams to identify talent. Instead, it uses the existing educational framework to recognize and nurture bright students.
